Hi,
my 5 year old lab, Comet has been feeling some discomfort since the psat few days. For no reason he'd start whimpering like somethings REALLY troubling him. The vet first said that was a bad case of urinary tract infection combined with acute atrophy of the muscles in his hind legs (which is a mystery, because all he does the whole day is run around in the back yard)
Comet seemed to be fine after having the prescribed medicines and everything seemed to be fine until today when all of a sudden all the symptoms seemed to return. The doc had another look, but could not make a diagnosis. He has referred us to another vet, but can anybody help me in figuring out what exactly might be the problem? might be some internal injury or some prolem in the small intestine, which i have heard, is common among labs. PLEASE help
